As a result of Action 27, the following changes were introduced:
- Two new faculties have been established: Faculty of Space Technologies and Faculty of Computer Science.
- The Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics, and Telecommunications was reorganised, with the three departments being transformed into institutes.
- The Security and Defence Sector was established, comprising five centres:
- Cybersecurity Centre
- Centre for Security Technologies
- Centre for Information Security
- Centre for Defence Technologies
- Support Centre for Security and Defence Sector.
- The IT Sector was established, comprising three centres:
- IT Solutions Centre
- Centre for Implementations
- Centre for IT Support.
- Three research centres were established (funded under Action 23):
- Space Technology Centre
- Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence
- Centre for Security Technologies.
- Fourteen administrative centres were established following the reorganisation of administrative departments (Action 24).
- As many as 278 research teams were registered.
Moreover, as part of Action 27:
- Training sessions were held for professors, serving as team leaders, on research management and the academic development of team members.
- AGH University was recognised by the European Commission with the HR Excellence in Research award.
- The CoARA initiative was launched and a plan to change the methods for assessing research output was implemented.
- The NATO DIANA accelerator was co-developed.
